Why Me?
Hi, my name is Tina Clegg, and I am mum of one, to a beautiful grown-up daughter and fur baby Ted.
I have been practicing acupuncture since the start of 2018 after many years within the Financial Services Sector. After my dad was poorly and sadly passed away, I thought there had to be more to life than the Dolly Parton song “Working 9-5 what a way to make a living”. And so my journey into Traditional Acupuncture and Massage started, where my journey continues to grow.
Knowing I can make a difference to someone’s life is just amazing and I feel truly grateful for each opportunity.
Experience
I trained in Acupuncture at the Shulan College of Chinese Medicine and had my clinical placement with Dr. Mei Xing of Acuhealth.
Once qualified back in 2018, I worked part time at Salford Chiropractic Clinic as their acupuncturist.
In 2023 I joined The Well in Barnsley, where I work as a member of The Barnsley NHS Cancer Services Team, treating cancer patients two days a week with acupuncture.
I have found this role to be extremely rewarding, knowing that I make a big difference to a patient's wellbeing.
I continuing to grow my knowledge and in 2023 trained as a Phlebotomist.
WHAT CLIENTS SAY?
Just a big thank you to Tina who has done acupuncture on myself Mr Roy Kowacz for ten sessions.
When I took my first one, I didn’t know exactly what it was all about, but I felt relaxed and assured all this through Tina’s professional and personal methods. I say I felt very comfortable around Tina and could talk to her with comfort surrounding after my session I left the room feeling great.
Thank you you. "
Tina is a genuinely kind and caring person, she is really good at listening carefully, she has empathy and understanding and will always offer a solution in a bid to resolve any challenge you may have. Her work has astonished us, and she had a made such a massive difference to the circulatory challenges and limb paid that my mum has been enduring for many years. Her leg swelling has gone completely, the neuropathy paid had reduced significantly and she is sleeping so much better. A mini miracle in my eyes and I can thank her enough.
We can never thank you enough, you were crucial in our journey to become parents. Your kindness and ability to simply listen were invaluable at times. You saw us both through our darkest moments.
Don't ever under estimate how special you are.
With all our love

Following a subarachnoid haemorrhage and subsequently a road traffic collision. I was struggling with headaches, neck and shoulder paid and stiffness of movement. As a former Professional Sportsman I was determined to improve this and recover and so had tried a number of different therapies without much success. I was introduced to Tina who is welcoming, understanding and a lovely person. Through a combination of therapies I can honestly say that I have felt better and felt so much improvement.
I thoroughly recommend a visit - I am grateful to Tina for helping me on the road to recover
